Gig rowing is an excellent way to keep in good shape and meet and make great friends in Cornwall. Hayle gig club is one of a vast network of clubs in the area that is helping to keep up the traditions of a truly excellent Cornish sport. At the same time providing excellent fun and entertainment for a diverse group of friendly Cornish types. Training takes place a couple of times a week and there are regular races and events around Cornwall that the club participates in, including the World Championships. The club has a junior team as well as Men's and Women's crews.
